Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The idea of keeping a project diary is to provide a big picture view for what has been going on.
Diary entries should not be as detailed as git commit messages obviously and there should be one a day (hence the name) when a project is worked on intensly and once after major milestones at the least for low activity projects.
The goal is to pick up work again where we left easily. Life is full of distractions you know.
Maybe we should have a project historian agent to help keep the diary.
Let's start easy by cleaning up and then creating an issue for the creation of a betteragent to support us accross future projects.
